New Delhi: Technology giant HP on Tuesday launched its new multi-function printer with in-built wireless Internet hotspot for Rs 18,306.
"Besides print, copy, scan and fax capabilities, the printer also comes with mobile printing technologies including HP wireless direct, HP ePrint and Apple AirPrint. Now with the added Internet hotspot feature, this device can help a small business set up run a fully-functional office," HP India PPS Director Printing Nitin Hiranandani told reporters here.
The printer acts like a router (hotspot) and helps other devices connect to the Internet over a wireless local area network.
According to IDC, HP has about 44 percent share of the All-in-One printer market, which is about 1.70-1.90 lakh units a quarter in size.
"At HP, we believe in constantly reinventing the printer and today's launch of HP Hotspot marks an important milestone in our innovation legacy," Hiranandani added.
The company's range of AIOs are priced between Rs 9,000- 35,000.
