London: Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung dominated the smartphone market in Britain in November, according to a report.
Samsung’s products occupied five of the top ten positions in the monthly uSwitch.com Mobile Tracker chart.
According to the chart, the Samsung Galaxy S III remains popular due to its reputation for matching the iPhone's specifications without the prohibitive price tag.
Samsung's Galaxy S III, S II, Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Ace II and Galaxy Note II all feature in the top ten, the Telegraph reports.
Second and third places are taken by Apple's iPhone, though perhaps surprisingly the iPhone 4S beats the recently released iPhone 5, the report said.
The LG Nexus 4 and HTC One X+ complete the list in fifth and ninth place, adding further clout to Google's Android operating system and its dominance in the European marketplace, it added.
