Bangalore: US-based Belkin, an active and passive networking solutions provider, plans to boost its business by over four times in India, where it eyes to have a turnover of USD 100 million by 2016.
Belkin India currently has an annual turnover of USD 22.3 million, its Managing Director, Indian Subcontinent, Mohit Anand, told reporters here.
"We are looking at USD 100 million business in India by 2016," he said.
Anand said Belkin India, which provides inter- connectivity solutions across computing and consumer electronic devices, has charted out robust plans for consolidation and expansion that includes diversifying the brand's channel ecosystem.
"The brand aims to augment its retail presence to cater to the increasing demand from various corners of the country," Anand said.
He said Belkin's presence in surrounding all the four screens that a user interacts on a daily basis as part of their digital lifestyle - personal computer, television, mobile phones and the tablet -- has laid the foundation for Belkin to be a leading brand in the technology and digital lifestyle space.
"With a market share of over 30 percent, Belkin today is amongst the top two brands in the networking space in India," Anand said. "Belkin enjoys a premier positioning in the surge space where it enjoys a market share of over 70 percent. The brand sold over 90,000 units in each month of the year 2012".
