Mumbai: Rohan Sippy has teamed up yet again with writer Shridhar Raghavan, who wrote the filmmaker`s recently released film `Dum Maro Dum`, for his next project.
"I am working on my next movie with Shridhar Raghavan and we will make an announcement soon," Sippy told reporters.
The producer-director said he was happy and relieved as `Dum Maaro Dum`, which released on Friday last, opened well.
"In Goa too, the protests have died down and the film has got a good response. This shows that there is no element of truth in reports that the film is anti-Goa," Sippy said.
He said the film has taken a taken a gross opening of Rs 11.4 crore across India, United Kingdom, United States, United Arab Emirates, Australia, and New Zealand.
"`Dum Maaro Dum` had an opening of Rs 11.4 crore gross across India, US, UK, UAE and Australia/NZ. In India the film has garnered a box office collection of Rs 6.2 crore net including paid previews. A positive word of mouth has seen evening shows getting a good number of audience," director Rohan Sippy said.
Meanwhile, Dum Maro Dum`s lead actor Abhishek Bachchan, whose previous release `Game` had failed miserably at the box office, left for Russia last night for the shooting of `Players`.
The third schedule of the Abbas Mustan movie starring himself with Sonam Kapoor will be shot in St Petersburg.
