New Delhi: Homebuyers in the country are now turning restless waiting with uncertainty to get possession of the builder apartment booked by them

Long after the expiry of the deadline for possession given by the builder, home buyers claim that builders neither give the possession on time, and in some cases, even make alterations to the floor plan, or project plan without their consent.

The homebuyers in Noida and Greater Noida even plan to protest against Rahul Gandhi at Jantar Mantar on March 5, if the Opposition continues to obstruct the passing of the Real Estate Bill in the Parliament.

Rahul Gandhi had joined the protests of home buyers in May 2015, and had promised to extended his support.

The Real Estate Bill is expected to rein in builders who do not meet the completion deadlines and other delivery commitments.

These buyers in Uttar Pradesh have aggressively begun campaigning on social media sites demanding for a real estate regulatory authority.

They have created a hashtag ‘#passrerabill’, and are posting video messages and tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Venkaiah Naidu, Rahul Gandhi, Subraminan Swamy, Digvijay Singh on social media sites urging them for a support.
