New Delhi: Realty consultant Jones Lang LaSalle India has appointed Anurag Mathur as CEO (Project and Development Services) and Head-Emerging Businesses.
Mathur was earlier Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), where he led pan-India operations, JLL India said in a statement today.
Last month, C&W had appointed Sanjay Dutt as company's Executive Managing Director (South Asia) in place of Mathur.
"Jones Lang LaSalle India has delivered an outstanding performance in 2011-12, and we are on a concerted growth trajectory. With his wealth of experience, Mathur is uniquely positioned to add value to several key businesses of the firm," JLL India Chairman & Country Head Anuj Puri said.
Mathur would play a big role in furthering the growth of the project management business and also in advancing business lines such as residential services and various upcoming strategic initiatives, Puri added.
JLL's project management division has over 81 million sq ft of area delivered and under management, and more than 75 million sq ft under auditing and advisory.
"As a real estate services professional, the move to Jones Lang LaSalle is a logical transition for me," Mathur said.
