Amy Winehouse wants a baby!

London: Pop star Amy Winehouse reportedly wants to start a family with her director boyfriend Reg Traviss, and is hoping to get pregnant this year.

The 27-year-old singer is planning to tie the knot soon with Traviss, whom she has been dating for a year. The `Rehab` hitmaker who has battled with drugs and alcohol abuse, is recovering from the same and is eager to have a baby, reported Reveal magazine. "Amy`s obsessed with having children. It`s all she`s talking about right now. She is desperate to have a baby within the next year. "Amy is doing everything she can to have kids. Because of the drugs and drinking, her body would not have been able to handle a baby. Now she`s on the road to recovery and is turning things around," said a source. The `Back to Black` hitmaker was reportedly upset about her ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil`s news of wanting to have a baby with his girlfriend, Sarah Aspin, in May. "She was devastated when she found out, and it made her even more determined to have her baby," added the source. Winehouse`s father, Mitch, who earlier admitted his daughter being broody, is skeptical about her decision to settle down. "She`s become so broody. She`s now at the age where she wants to have a baby. But I can`t see her settling down with 15 children just yet," said Mitch. PTI
