MJ estate ‘threatens to sue famous prankster for illegal sale of recording’

Washington: The Michael Jackson estate has threatened to sue the man, who played a phone prank on Jackson in 2007, for illegally selling the recorded call that contains Jackson’s real voice.

The legendary prankster Ralphige had made the call in which he pretended to be Akon and teased Jackson about molesting children. However, the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker was reported to have told Ralphige that the person whom he had talked to was just an impersonator. But Jackson’s estate said that they would sue Ralphige for selling the recording on his website for 99 cents a pop, without even receiving permission from the Jackson camp. The threat indeed worked out as Ralphige``s site was down but that did not stop him from claiming that he was permitted by Jackson himself to sell the recording. “I am afraid the estate is not aware Michael personally gave me permission to release the phone call. This is something that I am sure will be discussed in the near future,” he told TMZ.com. ANI
