Sriti Jha charting new realms of acting

Sriti Jha says her character `prefers a life without eyes`.

Mumbai: Actress Sriti Jha, who plays a blind girl in Imagine TV`s upcoming show "Rakt Sambandh", says her character "prefers a life without eyes than a life without conscience". "That`s what keeps her going," said the actress who was seen as a timid girl in "Jyoti".
"I have started respecting blind people a lot more than I used to. It`s amazing how they lead their lives and accept that they cannot see anything, yet they try and enjoy their life," said Sriti, who was in the capital recently to promote the show. For her character, Sriti read books including Helen Keller`s autobiography and even saw some films to pick up the mannerisms of the visually challenged. "Rakt Sambandh" will go on air Monday. IANS
