Billy to host military homecoming show

TLC is all set to show surprise military homecomings.

Los Angeles: US cable network TLC has ordered a series inspired by online video and local news phenomena of showing surprise military homecomings. Country singer and former "Hanna Montana" television star Billy Ray Cyrus will host.
Viewers will watch as soldiers return home to the shock and delight of their loved ones. "We look forward to honouring our service men and women, and celebrating in the unmatched moment when they are reunited with their families," said Eileen O`Neill, president and general manager of TLC. The network has ordered three hour-long episodes. A premiere date has not been set. This is the second reality show Cyrus has signed on to since wrapping the cable series "Hanna Montana" earlier this year. In September, it was announced that Cyrus and his 21-year old son Trace would team on "UFO: Unbelievably Freakin` Obvious," a series investigating paranormal phenomena for U.S. cable network Syfy.
