New Delhi: Veteran Hindi film actor Shammi Kapoor, who will be facing the camera after almost a decade with a cameo in Rockstar, is nervous and excited about the role. The 78-year-old actor, who is wheelchair-bound and has to undergo dialysis thrice a week, has agreed to appear alongside his grand-nephew Ranbir Kapoor for the first time in the Imtiaz Ali-directed film.
"Am on flight to Delhi after a 7 year gap. Doing a cameo in Imtiaz Ali new film Rockstar with Ranbir. Am excited and nervous," the Junglee star wrote on his Twitter page. Rockstar is Imtiaz`s next film after the hit Love Aaj Kal, which released last year. Ranbir plays the lead in the film which is based on the music industry. The director has not zeroed in on a female lead yet. It was reported that 21-year-old model Nargis had been cast opposite Ranbir, but Imtiaz later refuted the rumours. PTI
