ENSURING INCLUSIVE GROWTH
The government has not been able to eradicate poverty and unemployment despite taking several measures and initiating various flagship programmes. Widespread corruption and red-tapism in the bureaucracy has further marred government’s plan for an inclusive growth. Programmes like the Direct Cash-Transfer scheme might seem to be a path-breaking step towards implementations of those flagship programmes, but government has to first improve infrastructure (banking services, financial inclusion) at rural level.
