Sony Tablet P
Sony Tablet P saw the light of day earlier this year. Sony cast Tablet P into a clamshell design, with the ability to fold in half thereby increasing portability. The new feature didn’t go down well with users. As it happened, the Tablet P’s design and functionality led to the downfall of the tablet. Splitting up of the screen, wider hinges, awkward touchscreen and the inability to play games and browse the Internet fluently resulted in the whole experience to become a mess.
Tablet P took a bashing from reviewers which resulted in the company’s grave lowering of prices, from USD 549 to USD 199. The P is no longer available on Sony’s American website as the company decided against providing any upgrades to it.
