Zeebiz BureauNew Delhi: Kawasaki Japan has posted photos and details of the 2013 Ninja 250R on its site, as per media reports. The release date and price of the bike in India has not been made official yet.
It is believed that 250R Ninja will be sold in Japan at Rs 2.34 lakh. The striking change of the new 2013 Ninja 250R is its revamped bodywork.
Some internal modifications have also been done to the Ninja 250R’s 249cc parallel twin engine. Kawasaki is claiming an increase in low-midrange torque with the 2013 model.
The Ninja 250R gets a new parallel twin DOHC engine with new crankcase and pistons.
The Ninja 250R will be available in a variety of colour range—Lime Green, Lime Green/Ebony (special edition), Passion Red, Passion Red/Stardust White (special edition), Ebony/Metallic Moondust Grey (special edition) and Pearl Stardust White.
