Maruti Alto 800: No near plans to launch diesel variant

New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki launched the new Alto 800 in New Delhi amidst much fanfare on Tuesday.

The ‘people’s car’ is priced between Rs 2,44,000 and Rs 3,56,000.

At the moment the car is available in Standard, LX and LXI version. The car is available in both petrol and CNG. However the company has that it has no near plans to launch the diesel variant of the car.

-Petrol Standard: Rs 2,44,000

-Petrol Lx: Rs 2,76,500

-Petrol Lxi: Rs 29,9,000

-CNG STD: Rs 3,19,000

-Lxi: Rs 3,56,000
