New Delhi: This should be music to the ears of students who missed the online booking of Aakash tablet. The world's cheapest tablet may now be available on rent in college libraries.
The Aakash tablet on rent will be pre-loaded with subject-wise video lectures in various fields like engineering, science and humanities.
Reportedly, the government wants Aakash to reach all 220 million school and college students. Hence this step of renting the tab will in a way help government to reach its target.
The duration of rental will be decided by the respective college.
