Spanco’s MeeSeva Kendras were recognized for its implementation and execution and were given the State Award and CM’s recognition for its contribution in delivering Govt. to Citizen Services. In addition to this, Spanco’s Mobile Banking Platform for State Bank of India was chosen as the “Jury’s Choice” for the best Mobile based Technology Implementation in the country.

Spanco bagged the MeeSeva project award for its solution focusing on transformation from “Government Centric Governance” to “Citizen Centric Governance” making all the G2C services available through better use of technology that can help citizens avoid visiting several government offices to avail them. Along with G2C services bringing critical B2C services such as utility bill payment have created a single point of solution for citizens for all their service needs. In the last 12 months, Spanco has delivered more than 16 million transactions across its centers in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts thus creating a record of sorts in the transactions delivery services within the country.
The solution adopted by Spanco was to create infrastructure that can scale the service portfolio, add new requirement, meet the increasing demand of the citizens, reduction on transaction time, improved counter efficiency, increased capability of revenue collection, efficient payment gateway for the citizens and business to state government and manage immediate roll out of government plans anytime in the year.
Details about Mobile Technology Implementation Award:
Jury’s Choice for Best Mobile Technology Implementation was given to Spanco for its innovative solution to provide low cost alternate channel to State Bank Of India for its customer to conduct banking and commerce transactions. State Bank of India, with an aim to provide different banking services through mobile phone to its customers engaged Spanco as service providers to set up the technology and business processes relating to the services. Today SBI is the leader in mobile banking. FY12 saw 25 million mobile transactions valued over Rs.1820 crore, of which SBI accounted 81% by volume and 50 % by value and this was only possible due to its appropriate technology and the ease of operation created by Spanco.
