Chennai: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Wednesday predicted 'heavy to very heavy' rainfall in parts of southern Tamil Nadu over the next 48 hours.
According to ANI, the NDMA said that heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in parts of south Tamil Nadu during next 48 hours.
Heavy rains recently lashed Chennai, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur districts of Tamil Nadu, forcing the authorities to order the closure of schools in these districts.
