RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Tuesday inaugurated a new shelter for three tiger cubs in state's Jungle Safari in Naya Raipur.

The tigress Kishori gave birth to the three cubs - Kanha, Bijli and Chendru, at least six months ago.

"I would like to thank Chhattisgarh Forest Minister Mahesh Gagda for this initiative. He had also come up with the name for the cubs. This proposal has been taken up to increase the tourist attraction in the state", the Chief Minister said while speaking to media.

"Chhattisgarh Forest Minister had also released at least five lakh fishes in the Khandawa lake which is around the jungle safari for breeding, attracting foreign birds and also food for the aquatic animals", he said.
