Wayamba

A team based in Sri Lanka’s North Western province, Wayamba emerged as the winners of the Sri Lankan Inter Provincial T20 tournament to qualify for the Champions League T20 competition.

Led by their dynamic skipper Jehan Mubarak, Wayamba have amazing players in their ranks as Mahela Jayawardene, Ajantha Mendis and Farveez Maharoof.

Young Isuru Udana is another talented player who has produced umpteen great performances for the team. He was instrumental in the side clinching the domestic T20 title with a winning performance in the final against the Basnahira South side.

Wayamba may not look like an invincible outfit but can certainly spring a surprise with few upset wins. The camaraderie between the members and their ability to gel together as a team is their greatest strength.
