New South Wales Blues

The New South Wales Blues, a team which indeed is one of the strongest contenders for the Champions League Twenty20. It, in fact, is also considered to be a sort of mirror for Australian cricket. It is said, if NSW Blues is in a good shape, Australia cricket is in the pink of its health too.
The Sydney based Australian domestic team, also known as the Speed Blitz Blues, is considered to be one of the most high profile teams as it has names of some outstanding Aussie players like Brett Lee, Simon Katich, Stuart Clarke and many more.
The team competes in the first-class competition, the Sheffield Shield, the Ford Ranger Cup (limited-overs cricket) and the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash.
NSW has contributed to Australian cricket with legends like Sir Donald Bradman, Richie Benaud, Steve Waugh and Glenn McGrath in the past. The team has won the first-class competition 44 times and one-day Domestic Cup nine times.
In the inaugural season of the Champions League T20, the team will mostly bank on its rich-bowling base, which includes Lee and Clark. However, coach Matthew Mott also wants his two young men, Phillip Hughes and David Warner to play an equally important role in the batting line-up.
Mott plans to play Warner and Hughes as the opening pair, which, according to him, would be the key to their success. Who knows, the key might indeed fetch them the ‘Champions’ title this year.
