New Delhi: Former Sri Lanka cricketer-turned umpire Kumar Dharmasena has enjoyed success, both a cricketer and an umpire but the recent times hasn't got down well in his professional career.
Dharmasena is on the ICC’s Elite panel of umpires but has endured a difficult time while officiating during the recent games.
The Sri Lankan had repeated incidents for taking wrong decisions, be it the Bangladesh-England series or the India-England series.
Now 45-year-old has again gone into trouble for the same reason in the ongoing Australia-New Zealand series.
Dharmasena's decision to give Steve Smith out was overturned using DRS and Virender Sehwag couldn't resist taking a dig at the Sri Lankan umpire.
