New Delhi: Indian left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha, who was rushed to hospital on Wednesday after suffering a head injury, is reportedly said to be stable now.

It all happened when India Blue’s No.11 batsman Pankaj Singh played a ball powerfully towards mid-on. Ojha went on his knee to collect it, but the ball hit one of the rough patches on the ground and hit the tweaker on his left side of the head.

Ojha, who collapsed in a semi-conscious state, was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was accompanied by India Green coach WV Raman.

The Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) later tweeted a photograph of the spinner from the hospital saying he was fine.

The 30-year-old also told The Times of India that he was doing better now and will be under observation.

“It was a blackout. I don't remember anything. I am better now. I am also under observation and told to have liquid diet for a while," Ojha said.
