New Delhi: Batting stance is an extremely important decision for a batsman. In cricket, a number of awkward batting stances have been introduced, some of which looked weird including that of West Indian batsman Shivnaraine Chanderpaul's.

A new stance has now been introduced by veteran Australian cricketer George Bailey in the Australia vs New Zealand 1st ODI.

The Aussies vs Kiwis battle is one of the most fierce ones in cricket and with Bailey doing things like these on pitch, it must have been even more infuriating for the bowlers.

In the same match, captain Steve Smith took a splendid one-handed catch which will go down as one of the best in cricket history.

Batting first, Australia finished on 324/8 after 50 overs but New Zealand were bundled for only 256.

Steve Smith was named Man of the Match for his brilliant 164 and of course the brilliant catch.
