Did Steve Smith use F-word for Murali Vijay on Day 3 at Dharamsala calling him a 'cheat'?

Dharamsala: From Steve Smith's brain fade moment to several other heated battles, the ongoing Test series between India and Australia has seen it all. Australian skipper Steve Smith added another controversial incident to the list after he was seen abusing Indian fielder Murali Vijay after he claimed a catch which was dropped.

The incident happened minutes before stumps on Day 3 when Ravichandran Ashwin produced an edge off Josh Hazlewood's bat which went towards the slip cordon, where Vijay claimed the catch.

The field umpire wasn't convinced and he asked for the opinion of the third umpire.

While the Indian team celebrated the dismissal, replays suggested that the ball had touched the ground just before Vijay got his fingers to it.

As third umpire gave the decision in the favour of the visitors, Smith was captured saying the words "f***ing cheat".

Here's the video of the incident:

However, Ashwin finally had the last laugh as he trapped Hazlewood in front of the wicket in the same over, which gave India a 106-run target.
