New Delhi: Rising Pune Supergiant climbed to second spot in the Indian Premier League points table after a 12-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad, with Jaydev Unadkat the chief architect of the win, courtesy a hat-trick, included in a 5-wicket haul.

Unadkat's inspirational performance got the RPS all-rounder Ben Stokes in a funny mood, and the Englishman went on to post a hilarious meme on his Instagram account.

"Great work today from the team...special mention to The Mango Man @jd_unadkat on his amazing bowling performance #hattrick #5er," Stokes wrote on the post.

Reflecting on his performance, Unadkat credited the backing of Steve Smith, MS Dhoni and Ben Stokes.

"I am very happy with the result today. I am trying to keep it simple and have the backing of Smith, MS and Stokes. I have been doing well in this part of the game and I need to continue it for the team," the left-armer said after being adjudged the man-of-the-match.

"I need to adapt to the wickets and we are playing in Delhi next, that is one of the better batting wickets in the tournament and I have to adapt to that wicket," he added.

With this performance, Unadkat became the second bowler to take two fifers in the tournament, after James Faulkner's exploits in 2013. Unadkat's first five-for came in 2013 when he represented Royal Challengers Bangalore.
