Delhi Daredevils v Kolkata Knight Riders: Players to watch out for in Match 18 of IPL 2017

New Delhi: Delhi Daredevils are up against Kolkata Knight Riders in Match 18 of the Indian Premier League to be played at Feroz Shah Kotla today. As compared to the previous editions, the Daredevils have put a commendable show in the tournament so far under the leadership of Zaheer Khan.

Rahul Dravid and Paddy Upton – two veterans who know how to back and transform the players, have done a brilliant job for the Daredevils. Zaheer has led the team exceptionally well and it remaisn to be seen whether DD can continue their good run against in-form KKR.

One of the most balanced sides in the competition, KKR would want to further stamp their authority in the tournament. One change which the think tank might contemplate for today's match is replaced Kiwis all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme with Bangladesh's superstar Shakib Al Hasan.

Here are two players to watch out for from both teams:

Sanju Samson: The youngster would be high on confidence having registered his maiden IPL hundred and is clearly one batsman to watch out for.

Chris Morris: A highly underrated cricketer, Morris clearly is the most talented all-rounder of the competition.

Gautam Gambhir: Not many players know the Kotla track better than this man and keeping his current form in mind, the spectators can expect another big knock from their local hero.

Umesh Yadav: Having emerged as a different bowler for the national team in the last few months, the onus would be on him to get KKR some early breakthroughs.

The massive wins against Rising Pune Supergiant and Kings XI Punjab must have sent strong signals to KKR camp. Playing at home would also add to Delhi's advantage but they will have their task cut out against KKR, this IPL's most consistent outfit so far.
