New Delhi: Mumbai Indians all-rounder Hardik Pandya escaped unhurt after taking a terrifying fall while bowling against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday at Wankhede Stadium.
It happened just before the start of his spell, in the 8th over. He ran in to deliver, but ended up slipping his flailing leg. It sure looked one nasty fall, but the bowler braved the pain, and also managed a blank smile.
It could have injured him seriously. Here's the video:
Despite the fall, he went onto bowl three overs, and took the wicket of dangerous Yuvraj Singh, clean bowled.
Mumbai Indians restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad for a small total of 158/8.
