New Delhi: India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been rather quiet so far in the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

But the Gujarat Lions player was in no mood to compromise his reputation, well, of an attacking player, and the result — two consecutive sixes, both crashing in to the Feroz Shah Kotla stands.

Coming late in the Lions innings against Delhi Daredevils on Thursday, the 28-year-old hit the first six off the fifth ball of the last over over long-on for a gigantic six. Here's the video:

The left-handed batsman then completed the innings with another maximum, this time the ball sailing over deep mid-wicket boundary. The bat swing from Jadeja even reminded Dhoni's. Here's the video:

Poor Corey Anderson ended up leaking 17 runs from the over, as the Lions post their highest ever total this season.

The Lions' 208/7 was, however, not enough as Delhi chased down the target with relative ease to effectively end the Lions's hope of making the play-offs.
