New Delhi: Rohit Sharma hit his India team-mate Umesh Yadav for a huge six during Kolkata Knight Riders-Mumbai Indians IPL match at Eden Gardens on Saturday.
Put into bat by KKR captain Gautam Gambhir, visiting MI lost opener Lendl Simmons early to bring Rohit into the centre.
Known for his exploits in Kolkata, the Mumbai captain took on the challenge and started playing free-flowing strokes.
In the seventh over, the India opener lofted his national team-mate Yadav for a huge six over long-on. Looking at his swing, it's safe to assume that Rohit was in some touch.
The manner in which Rohit dismissed that length ball, it looked as if he was waiting to attack.
