New Delhi: Royal Challengers Banglaore proved too good for Gujarat Lions after Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli amassed 213 runs against Suresh Raina-led franchise, who in turn could only manage 192.
Kohli, who is often seen in his aggressive avatar, was spotted shouting at young Gujarat batsman Ishan Kishan after the latter ducked to a bouncer bowled by Sreenath Aravind and later expressed frustration, depicting he should have rather gone for a pull. As seen in the video, the very next ball from Aravind was another bouncer, but instead of ducking, Kishan went for a pull and dislodged the ball in stands.
Kohli's act to unnerve the youngster, rather backfired, as he hit an astonishingly good six at the deep mid-wicket boundary.
Eventually, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Gujarat Lions by 21 runs after West Indies opener Chris Gayle smashed a blistering half-century before Yuzvendra Chahal returned with a three-wicket haul.
