This GMR Group owned outfit, though made it to the semi-finals last year, for most part of the season, flattered to deceive. Led by the indomitable Virender Sehwag, Daredevils boast of one of the most formidable batting line-ups in the IPL.
Besides Sehwag himself, Gautam Gambhir, David Warner, AB de Villiers, Tillakaratne Dilshan and fresh recruits Paul Collingwood and Owais Shah make the team from the capital a daunting prospect for any bowling attack. What also works in Delhi’s favour is that all its frontline batsmen are in good nick.
With an equally potent bowling attack comprising Glenn McGrath, Pradeep Sangwan, Amit Mishra and Daniel Vettori Daredevils are the most balanced team heading into the IPL.
