South Africa are one the cusp of a historic series whitewash against top-ranked Australia as the five match of the One-Day International series culminates at Cape Town.
The travelling Australian side is obviously not the greatest but losing any series 0-5 will be a hard to pill digest for the proud Aussies. In contrast, the Proteas have found the churning to their affection, having registered convincing wins in all of the previous four matches.
Faf du Plessis & Co will try everything in their 'might' to complete the whitewash. For the hosts, it's too high a stake to compromise not being the first team to do, beating Australia 5-0 in a five-match series.
And ahead of the Test series Down Under in November, such a win will have greatest effect than just bragging rights.
For Steven Smith and his side, a win today will help them return home on a high.
