New Delhi: Mahendra Singh Dhoni is undoubtedly one of the finest cricketers to have played the game.
India's most successful captain, Dhoni made an impact during his early days in international cricket with his fearless approach towards batting.
Dhoni has often been hailed for his ice-cool temperament on the field. Rarely do we see him losing his cool.
However, in one of the ODIs against Australia, India's captain cool got extremely angry.
Dhoni was sprinting for a single before Mitchell Johnson came in his way which led to a collision and the wicketkeeper batsman also lost his balance and fell on the pitch. Had it been a direct hit by Ricky Ponting, the Ranchi-born cricketer would have been back in the hut.
Dhoni looked furious as he got up and stared at Johnson.
Already hit by a few bouncers earlier in the match, the blocking incident provoked the Indian skipper, who went all guns blazing and gave a fitting reply to the Aussies.
Watch how he hammered the Australian bowlers to all parts of the ground after the incident:
After the severe bashing, Ponting and his men would be regretting their move to instigate the Indian skipper.
