New Delhi: Australia debutant Matt Renshaw’s maiden Test innings only lasted 15 minutes in Day 2 of third Test between Australia and South Africa at Adelaide after he fell on a delivery by Kyle Abbott.

The decision wasn't straight forward as a prolonged third umpire's review was required to confirm if Dean Elgar had taken the catch cleanly or not.

It seemed as if Elgar managed to intercept the ball centimeters above from the turf, however a slight bobble created doubts of whether it was a clean catch.

The final decision by the umpire was out but not everyone is convinced with the call.

Renshaw, who stood by the tricky 12-over spell on Day 1,resumed his innings alongside Usman Khawaja in Australia’s response to the Proteas 9-259dec.
