Revealed: Why Yuvraj Singh was angry, sad as fans remembered his six sixes nine years later

New Delhi: Indian cricket fans on Monday celebrated the ninth anniversary of Yuvraj Singh's famous knock in the 2007 WT20.

The star left-hander's six sixes against England are fondly remembered by cricket lovers each year on September 19.

Yesterday was no different, as that once-in-a-lifetime innings by Yuvi was revisited by fans all over the world.

The occasion was meant to be a happy one for the Punjab batsman, but unlike every year, Yuvraj was sad and angry this time.

Taking to social micro-blogging site Twitter, the World Cup winner revealed the reason behind his sombre mood.

Terror struck an Army camp in North Kashmir's Uri town when militants stormed a battalion headquarters in the wee hours on Sunday, killing 18 soldiers.

The Army camp is located barely few metres away from its Brigade Headquarters in Uri town.

The attack comes two years after militants had carried out a similar type of attack at Mohra in the same area.
