David Warner vs Ravichandran Ashwin

On the other hand, Ravichandran Ashwin will he determined to stop Warner from getting into his usual strides and add more scalps to his 250 Test wickets tally.

Virat Kohli vs Mitchell Starc

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is leading the team by example and playing long and stable innings in every match. Kohli would like to repeat his past performances, but Mitchell Starc would be there to stop him from scoring. With a lethal combination of pace and swing, Starc would be determined to break the partnerships and help Aussies win. The fans will also be anitcipating a verbal delight between the two.

Steve Smith vs Umesh Yadav

The Australian skipper is leading the team with his innovations and as a young captain, he has indeed shown a lot of improvement. He can face both spin and pace equally well. But Umesh Yadav will be there to halt him from scoring well. Yadav being an attacking bowler, with his pace and bounce, would be hoping to send the Aussie batsmen back to the hut in no time to spare.

Cheteshwar Pujara vs Nathan Lyon

Cheteshwar Pujara has been one of India's most consistent Test batsmen. He has the ability to play defensive well and stabalize the innings when the top order fails. Nathan Lyon on the other hand will head the spin department and test the skills of Indian batsmen with his 'mystery spin' bowling.

Matt Renshaw vs Ravinder Jadeja

Matt Renshaw is a highly-rated young opener who has drawn a lot of eyeballs with his selection in the squad. Though he would be opening for his team, if seamers fail to get him, Ravinder Jadeja will be determined to not let him progress further.
