New Delhi: Virender Sehwag is known for his master class stroke play, it didn't matter to him wheather it was Test match, ODI or T20. Even in the longest format of the game, the right hander always played with freedom.

Test cricket is known to test your patience in 5 days, but for Viru it was like a walk in the park.

The 37-year-old was always criticised for not moving his feet and playing with hand eye co-ordination only. (READ: WATCH: HILARIOUS! Virender Sehwag sings 'Tu Jaane Na', smashes six next ball)

It was often said that, this approach is good in ODIs but he will never prove to be productive in Test matches.

The Nawab of Najafgarh proved everyone wrong when he made a triple century in a Test match against Pakistan. After which he was named as The Sultan of Multan.

Since then, Sehwag has become a nightmare for Pakistani bowlers.

On one instance in 2005-06 Test series against Pakistan, Viru was batting on 183 with Rahul Dravid on the other end at 90.

At 183 batsman tend to be catious and just take single or double, as they inch towards the 200 run landmark.

Naved-ul-Hasan was on the receiving end this time. He was thrashed for four consecutive bundaries which helped Sehwag to reach 199.

If you think being on 199 he tried to go for the single, then you are again wrong. Viru went for the glory shot and merely escaped, as the bowl fell short just in front of the diving third man.

After that shot, Virender Sehwag became the 2nd fastest to score a double hundred in a Test match in mere 169 balls. The fastest till date belong to New Zealand's Nathan Astle, who took 153 balls to do so. Later Ben Stokes of England bettered Sehwag's record, he took 163 balls in reaching this milestone.

Here's how Sehwag took Naved Hasan apart in that over:
