Australia's victory over South Africa in the Kingsmead Test was overshadowed by the verbal duel between David Warner and Quinton de Kock, and the CCTV footage released later showed all the drama that occurred at the staircase to the dressing rooms during the tea break on day four.
Australia won the Test by 118 runs in just 20 minutes on day five to take 1-0 lead in the four-Test series.
CCTV footage released later showed Warner being restrained by team-mates Usman Khawaja and Nathan Lyon.
"Getting personal on the field is not on. We were certainly very chirpy out in the field as well. As far as I`m aware, we didn`t get personal towards Quinton," Australia captain Steve Smith said at the post-match press conference.
"What he said got a little bit personal towards Davey and, as we saw, it certainly provoked an emotional response," Smith added.
