New Delhi: From VVS Laxman, to Anil Kumble, everybody these days is talking about Virender Sehwag's form on Twitter. The Multan ka Sultan, who once entertained fans with blistering knocks across formats, has lately been a huge hit on social-media, where he wishes cricketers and celebrities across the world on their birthdays in trademark style.
Such has been Sehwag's presence on Twitter, that some fans, who had left the micro-blogging site long ago, claim to be back just to read his tweets.
While most of the celebrities prefer to interact less on Twitter, Sehwag on the contrary loves to interact with his fans.
When asked which Indian cricketer had a sense of humour like him, Viru told Hindustan Times, “On public platform, nobody writes funny things or anything that people will not appreciate, so they are very ‘politically correct’ all the time. I don’t think anybody writing on twitter has humour, but yes most of them are active on social media platforms."
As a result of his hilarious tweet, Sehwag has built a huge fan base on Twitter, where he currently has 7.71 million followers.
