NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Central Police Organisations (CPO) has announced 1,223 vacancies for Delhi Police Sub Inspector (SI) positions. All the SI posts are based in Delhi out of Delhi. In order to appear for the exam, candidates need to appear for the SSC CPO SI entrance examination.

SSC CPO recruitment 2018: Important dates 

The commission will hold online test for SI post. Online application form are currently available online at ssc.nic.in . The last date to submit of application form is April 2, 2018. The last date for payment of online fee is also April 2, 2018. However, in offline system, the last date is April 5, 2018.

SSC CPO recruitment 2018 Tier I exam will be held from June 4, 2018 to June 10, 2018. Tier II exam will be held on December 1, 2018.

SSC CPO recruitment 2018: Eligibility criteria 

The eligibility criteria of CPO SI recruitment 2018 is:

1. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University.
2. A valid driving license for LMV (Motorcycle and Car)
3. Age Limit: Between 20–25 Years as on 01.08.2018.

If any discrepancy is found in the candidature, applicant's form will be immediately be disqualified, informed SSC.

The recruitment for Sub Inspector's post in Delhi Police (DP) is held every year. The SSC also holds exams for Sub Inspector in Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB), Sub Inspector in Border Security Force (BSF), Sub Inspector in Central Reserved Security Force (CRPF), Sub Inspector in Indo-Tibetan Border Security Force (ITBP), Sub Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Assistant Sub Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
