New Delhi: If you are at least 18 year old, have passed class 10 and earn less than Rs 6 lakh per annum, you become eligible to get a free smartphone.

Yes! This is the criteria set by the Uttar Pradesh government to distribute free mobile phones under the scheme Samajwadi Smartphone Yojna.

Registrations for the scheme are open and are expected to close on November 25, however the delivery of smartphones is expected only after June 2017. Those keen on availing the free smartphone will have to register online on the official site of the scheme http://samajwadisp.in/.
