The Common Law Admission Test, or CLAT, is an all-India common entrance examination, conducted on a rotational basis by 18 National Law Universities for admissions to their Under-Graduate (UG)/ Post-Graduate (PG) degree programmes.

This year, the CLAT exam is being organized by Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna.

CLAT will take place on May 14, 2017, from 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm.

A candidate will have to carry a government-approved Id proof (Aadhaar card, Voter ID card, driving license, passport etc) along with the admit card on the day of the exam.

Results will be declared, i.e., Merit List will be issued on May 29, 2017.

Notably, candidates will not receive the admit card via e-mail or by post or by any other means. They will have to download it only.

The CLAT is a non-statutory body created under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the convenience of the students seeking admission to various National Law Universities in the country.
