SSC CGL Tier II 2017 re-exam on March 9; admit cards out on ssc-cr.org

Succumbing to protests by aspirants, the State Selection Commission has decided to conduct re-examination of SSC CGL Paper I – Quantitative ability – for those who had appeared in tier II examination 2017. Re-examination will also be conducted for candidates who had appeared for Paper I and Paper II English at Cyber City Patna in February 2018.
The re-examination will reportedly be held on March 9, 2018.
The admit cards for the SSC CGL Tier II examination can be downloaded from ssc-cr.org. Here’s how to download the admit cards:
- Log on to official website ssc-cr.org
- Click on download admit card for CGL (Tier II) exam 2017
- Enter required details in given fields and click on search
- The admit card is then displayed
- The admit card can then be downloaded and printout of the same can be obtained
This comes even as the protests continue against the alleged leak of SSC examination paper, which started in the national capital and then spilled over to other parts of the country like Bihar and Karnataka.
Despite the government ordering a CBI investigation into the SSC examination papers leak case, thousands of aspirants refused to call off their week-long agitation, until they get a written assurance regarding it.
Candidates protested over the issue in other parts of the country including Bihar, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
The SSC, which conducts examination for subordinate services, had recommended an inquiry by the CBI into the allegations of a leak of questions of the Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination 2017 held from February 17 to 22.
