`Britons hardly know their neighbours`

Believe it or not, Britons living in cities hardly know their neighbours.

London: Believe it or not, Britons living in cities hardly know their neighbours. A new survey has revealed that those living in cities can name only eight neighbours compared with 14 in rural UK areas, a news daily reported.
There is also a north-south divide, with Londoners on average on first name terms with only six neighbours compared with nine in Manchester and 11 in Glasgow, the poll found. The poll was carried out by `Gumtree.com` which allows people to place adverts for local services. PTI
