Los Angeles: Actor Beau Kazer, best known for his role of Brock Reynolds on TV soap opera 'The Young and the Restless' has passed away. He was 63. He died in Thousand Oaks, California on December 30, according to People magazine.
The Ontario-born actor got his big break in 1974 by originating the role of Brock, the adult son of Katherine (the late Jeanne Cooper) on the daytime drama. After leaving the show in 1980, he appeared on and off from 1984 to 2013, when he returned to Genoa City to attend Katherine's funeral.
Kazer appeared on other shows like 'General Hospital, 'Hart to Hart' and 'BJ and the Bear'. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Alkus. "'The Young and the Restless' has lost another of its own," RIP Beau Kazer. I remember the first time I heard your voice and thought wow!" actor Daniel Goddard, who plays Cane Ashby on the show, posted on his Facebook page.
"This guy should have been in radio! Then I watched u act and was blown away with how natural and honest your performances always were. God Bless," he added.
