Amanda Bynes released from psychiatric facility

Los Angeles: 'Easy A' actress Amanda Bynes has been released from the psychiatric facility after being treated for about two weeks.

The 28-year-old actress was seen walking around the Sunset Strip, reported TMZ. A picture obtained, shows Bynes wearing a black coat, matching pants, white sneakers and a pair of shades while conversing on the phone.

Bynes asked a hearing officer to be released on Thursday and was allowed to go, said an insider. Bynes reportedly has been taking medicine regularly and she sounds lucid. The hearing officer apparently thinks that Bynes is now stable and that she cannot be held involuntarily.

Bynes was admitted to the hospital by her parents after she showed weird behaviour following an arrest earlier this month. A previous report suggested she was back under conservatorship of her parents.
