Bieber throws water balloon at cop
London: Teenage pop star Justin Bieber seems to be getting too adventurous. He narrowly escaped arrest after throwing a water balloon at a US police officer.
The singer was about to be cuffed by the officer, who was left fuming after being soaked by the balloon thrown by Bieber, ahead of a -out performance. But the 16-year-old star`s bodyguard managed to resolve the matter, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"Still laughing. Great Day," Bieber posted on his Twitter page after the incident.
Bieber had been working on his aim with water balloons before scoring a direct hit at the officer Sunday. Then he hid in his trailer while the bodyguard spoke to the officer, who was at the show for crowd control.
A spokesperson for the state police described Bieber`s behaviour as "inappropriate". However, no report was filed and no further action will be taken against the singer.
Bieber is fast making a name as a prankster.
He had recently panicked fellow pop star Akon by pretending to be his illegitimate son in a phone call.
When asked about his pranks, Bieber said in a Twitter post: "Are you kidding. Of course I do! I prank everyone! No one is safe."
