London: A home in Park Place has reportedly become Britain’s most expensive one after being sold to a rich Russian for a record 140million pounds.
The unidentified buyer now owns the 300 year-old Grade II-listed property, in the village of Remenham, near Henley-on-Thames, Oxon.
Park Place has 30,000 sq ft of living space and is set in 570 acres, reports the Telegraph.
Reports said that the record sale also included about 200 acres of the parklands, listed monuments, house, cottages, stables and a boathouse.
Previously a home at One Hyde Park, Knightsbridge, Central London, recorded the highest selling price of 136million pounds.
