Los Angeles: Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has received an honorary fellowship from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
The 43-year-old, who has starred in movies like ‘Traffic’ and ‘Chicago’, was the recipient of the prestigious degree along with actors Matthew Rhys and Rhys Ifans, reports contactmusic.com. "We`re delighted to honour these distinguished artists who have achieved international distinction in their field,” said college principal Hilary Boulding. "It`s particularly exciting to welcome these prestigious fellows in the same month that the Royal Welsh College`s training was ranked in the Guardian University League Tables among the top five UK conservatoires for its music and the best in the UK for drama training,” added Boulding.
